My China Trip - Beijing Comic Event
Participated the opening ceremony of the Beijing "LongTan Lake Comic Festival" (北京龙潭湖动漫节) on 1st May.
This event is organised by the Beijing Chong Wen District Govt, co-organised by beijing Cartoon City. It is a small scale event. The unique thing about this event is that, it is held in a Park. This is the 1st time China organised an outdoor comic event.

This is the entrance of the park. Have to buy a RMB $2 (about SGD 40 cent) ticket in order to enter the park.

Although it is a comic event, but the main activities are COSPLAY. A bit disappointed.

The Cosplayer preparing themself to go on stage performance.

A group of cosplayer performing. It is actually a competition.
And in China, Cosplayer" are called"Coser".

Shifted to another area to take photo with the aunties & uncles, who are actually the key officials of Chong Wen District Govt.

Interviewed by the local TV ACG channel. Main topic is touching on Singapore-China Comic Exchange.

Graffiti painting by the young artists of huoshen forum. They actually take up our drawing space. Me and another two China Artist are suppose to lead the Graffiti Painting activies. But while the organiser busy looking for paint brush for us, the young boys n girls already took out their own drawinf materials and start painting without us.
